The financial literacy program at RPTRA Rambutan aims to empower housewives involved in the Family Development and Welfare initiative by equipping them with essential financial management skills. The program seeks to enhance participants' understanding of key financial concepts, including budgeting, saving, borrowing wisely, investing, and risk management, through practical and interactive sessions. These sessions incorporate the use of e-wallets, online banking, and financial diaries. Research from similar programs indicates significant positive impacts on financial knowledge, behaviour, and self-efficacy. Participants often demonstrate lasting improvements in financial competence, with notable gains sustained even after the program concludes. Despite these successes, challenges remain, including technological barriers such as limited access to digital resources and psychological obstacles like fear of financial complexity and social norms discouraging women from handling finances. To ensure sustainability and scalability, the program can integrate digital technology through a Learning Management System (LMS) and align with Indonesia's National Strategy on Financial Literacy (SNLKI) 2021-2025. Furthermore, partnerships with local organisations and community leaders, as well as leveraging peer networks, can enhance participation and support. Regular evaluation will ensure continuous program improvement. By replicating the successful model at RPTRA Rambutan in other locations, the program can contribute to broader financial inclusion and community welfare across Jakarta.
